The Senior Content Officer will be a key player in the Design and Content team, responsible for creating, developing, and editing original content for various marketing channels. The role requires a creative individual with excellent writing skills and a passion for storytelling.

Client Details

Our client is a prestigious University based in London. They have a strong reputation for academic excellence and are committed to creating a positive impact in society.

The team are in the office twice a week and work from home three times per week.

This role is available on a full time basis only.

Description

  • Identifying, conducting and writing up interviews with students and alumni for their online magazine.
  • Proofreading and editing print publication content.
  • Working collaboratively with the wider content and design team.
  • SEO copywriting (e.g. blog posts promoting the University's venue offerings).
  • Ad hoc copywriting support for Events (e.g. speeches and articles for programme booklets).
  • Video production and editing (Premiere Pro experience not essential but desirable).

Profile

A successful Senior Content Officer should have:

  • Demonstrable experience in creating engaging content for a range of online channels.
  • Content creation for social media channels.
  • Ability to help manage differing content requirements and projects in an effective and collaborative way with the wider team.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proofreading experience and familiarity with standard brand guidelines.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work across different content projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent stakeholder management across marketing, communications and academic backgrounds.
  • Proven understanding of SEO when creating content.

Job Offer

  • 6 month contract.
  • Start date beginning of July 2024.
  • Day rate contract, equivalent to £157 PAYE per day / £35,000 per annum pro rata.
  • Hybrid working in the office 2 days per week in central London.
