We are assisting an established and rapidly growing engineering and construction services contractor in their search for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to oversee the design, development of mechanical systems and components of projects in London. As a Mechanical Engineer, you ideally have a strong background in mechanical engineering principles, remarkable problem-solving abilities, and passion for innovation.

Key Requirements & Responsibilities:

• Manage design and development of mechanical systems, components and products using softwares and engineering principles.

• Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers and project managers to integrate mechanical systems into overall project designs.

• Examine and keep track of tests to oversee the performance and functionality of mechanical designs.

• Review test data and make recommendations for design improvements & optimizations.

• Prepare precise engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for mechanical designs.

• Generate and present reports to communicate design concepts, analysis, and test results to stakeholders.

• Manage effective communication with clients/stakeholders.

• Keep track of project records of design changes, revisions, and project developments.

• Collaborate with team members, suppliers, and clients to address technical inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure project success.

• Participate in meetings & design reviews to contribute ideas and insights to the overall design process.

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

• 3+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering role.

• 3+ years' experience in Pharma/Commercial contracts within construction.

• Commercial awareness is beneficial.

• Strong understanding of project pre-construction & design is an advantage.

• Knowledgeable in Mechanical Engineering softwares and Engineering analysis tools.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, systems, and processes.

• Experience in large-scale contracts is beneficial.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
