We are assisting an established and rapidly growing engineering and construction services contractor in their search for a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to oversee the design, development of mechanical systems and components of projects in London. As a Mechanical Engineer, you ideally have a strong background in mechanical engineering principles, remarkable problem-solving abilities, and passion for innovation.
Key Requirements & Responsibilities:

Manage design and development of mechanical systems, components and products using softwares and engineering principles.

Collaborate with cross- functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers and project managers to integrate mechanical systems into overall project designs.

Examine and keep track of tests to oversee the performance and functionality of mechanical designs.

Review test data and make recommendations for design improvements & optimizations.

Prepare precise engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation for mechanical designs.

Generate and present reports to communicate design concepts, analysis, and test results to stakeholders.

Manage effective communication with clients/stakeholders.

Keep track of project records of design changes, revisions, and project developments.

Collaborate with team members, suppliers, and clients to address technical inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure project success.

Participate in meetings & design reviews to contribute ideas and insights to the overall design process.

Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.

3+ years of experience in Mechanical Engineering role.
-
3+ years' experience in Pharma/Commercial contracts within construction.
-
Commercial awareness is beneficial.

Strong understanding of project pre-construction & design is an advantage.

Knowledgeable in Mechanical Engineering softwares and Engineering analysis tools.

Strong knowledge of mechanical principles, systems, and processes.

Experience in large-scale contracts is beneficial.

Effective communication and teamwork skills.
