A leading FM provider who are renowned for their staff retention and prestigious contacts are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Shift Engineer to work on one of their critical sites, in Kensington.
This reputable company are big believers in promoting staff internally and are currently looking to add a strong Mechanical Shift Engineer to their team.
About the role:
- As a Mechanical Shift Engineer, you will be part of a team on a Critical site in Welwyn Gar-den City.
- You will be responsible for PPM & Reactive Maintenance on the following: Emergency lighting, Fire alarms, UPS generators, Boilers & Chillers, Lighting, AHUS's, FCU's, PAT test-ing.
- You'll be working on a continental shift pattern, which is days & nights.
What you need for the role:
- Minimum qualifications; NVQ Level 2/3 in Mechanical Engineering.
- Served a full Technical Apprenticeship and hold a technical qualification such as Mechanical Engineering (C&G, HNC, ONC, etc)
- Trade trained with at least 5 years' experience as a Mechanical Engineer.
- HVAP Qualified (Desired)
- Good mechanical knowledge is required.
- Well presented.
- Client facing.
