LEAD CREDIT RISK ANALYST- SCORECARDS

LONDON - HYBRID

UP TO £60,000

Join a leading ethical lender who are looking for a Lead Credit Risk Modelling Analyst to drive the development and optimisation of credit scorecards that enable fair, data-driven decisions across the lending products.

THE ROLE

  • Own the design, development, and implementation of credit scorecards (application and behavioural) for loan products.
  • Champion fair lending practices by ensuring models are unbiased, explainable, and regulatory compliant.
  • Use advanced statistical and machine learning techniques (e.g., logistic regression, decision trees, Python, SAS) to model credit risk.
  • Monitor and continuously improve model performance, including stress testing and scenario analysis.
  • Provide strategic input on credit risk appetite, lending policy, and portfolio segmentation.

REQUIREMENTS

  • scorecard development (ideally in unsecured personal loans or similar).

  • Strong skills in statistical modelling and data analysis using Python, R, SAS, or similar.
