A fantastic opportunity has arisen within the Luxury 5* Corporate Hotel brand, Canary Riverside Plaza Hotel in Canary Wharf, East London.


We are currently recruiting a Night Manager to be a part of our main Ambassador of the Hotel, the Front Office Department.


Set within the historic wharfs and quays of East London, Canary Riverside Plaza is the only five-star independent hotel in Canary Wharf. The 142 spacious guest rooms and suites make for an incredibly comfortable stay, be it for business or leisure, offering stunning views of the River Thames and city beyond. Quadrato Restaurant offers Italian inspired menus with flavours that are light, fresh and quintessentially Italian. The adjacent Quadrato Bar & Lounge offers an array of signature cocktails, wine, beer and spirits and is the perfect place for pre-dinner drinks or a night cap.

Key qualities we are looking from the Night Manager:


As Night Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the Front Office Manager by being solely responsible for the Front Office Department throughout the Night, while monitoring the Night Receptionists on duty with ensuring that all our in house Guests have an exquisite rememberable comfortable stay.


You will need to be incredibly passionate in carrying out full immaculate Guest Service (including providing full Concierge Services with the Night Receptionists on duty) in addition to monitoring the Night Receptionists to having a sound knowledge of Front Office procedures, ideally with experience of Opera and performing check in and check out processes.


The appointed Night Manager at Canary Riverside Plaza Hotel will be required to work in a Full Time Capacity of 40 Hours Per Weeks with 5 days out of 7 days in a Rota Shift Capacity (11:30pm to 7:30am (30 Minute Lunch Break).


The successful candidate will also ideally have at least 2 years experience in a Night Manager position of working in a 5 star Hotel establishment, with having excellent communication skills.


The main responsibilities for this role would include:


·Providing personalised service with Guests and establish good relationships to ensure loyalty and future bookings using the Guests name as many times as appropriate and possible.

·Supervising the Night Reception Team in order to ensure prompt and courteous check-in and check-out procedures.

·Handling incoming telephone calls promptly and courteously.

·Dealing with Guest Requests and ensure they are communicated to the relevant department and properly follow out.

·Ensuring a full efficient handover is carried out between shifts.

·Collecting feedbacks from Guests in order to constantly improve and maintain high standards of Guest Service.

·Maintaining awareness of VIP arrivals and departures and ensures necessary special arrangements are met.

·Providing full Concierge Services, including meeting all Guests from the moment they arrive in their Taxis, carrying all required Luggage up to the Guests Suites with ensuring they are immaculately briefed on all Hotel Facilities.

·Observing all Night Receptionists performance, time attendance and refer any concerns to the Front Office Manager.
