MSI Recruitment is currently seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a transdisciplinary team aimed at improving outcomes for children and young people through the application of expertise in occupational therapy. This role involves providing occupational therapy for students at our client's school, which educates pupils aged 3-19 with autism and learning disabilities from across London and the Home Counties.

Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist Role-

  • Support class teams in creating enabling environments and reducing occupational barriers to the curriculum.
  • Devise and implement individual and group intervention programs.
  • Write and support the fidelity of Occupational therapy programs for others to deliver.

Requirements for the Occupational Therapist Role-

  • BSc in Occupational Therapy
  • Experience working with children and adults with autism.
  • Design and implement impactful intervention programs and work effectively with those who implement them to ensure fidelity.
  • Able to work autonomously to promote the progression of the OT service in line with the ambitious approach.
  • Reflect critically, appraise own performance, accept and respond positively to feedback from supervision.
