We are seeking an experienced and highly organised School Office Manager to join our small, independent school in the heart of Mayfair. This is a full-time, term-time only role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting a high-functioning school office.

About the Role:As the Office Manager, you will play a central role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the school's administrative functions. The successful candidate will be a confident professional with proven experience in school administration and excellent working knowledge of SIMS and other school systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the school office, acting as a key point of contact for staff, parents, and external visitors

  • Maintain and update pupil records and reports using SIMS

  • Coordinate school communications and general correspondence

  • Oversee HR and recruitment administration, including safeguarding and compliance checks

  • Support the Headteacher and senior leaders with administrative and organisational tasks

  • Manage supplies, invoices, and office resources

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience in a school office or administrative role within an educational setting

  • Proficient knowledge of SIMS and familiarity with school procedures and compliance requirements

  • Strong organisational and communication skills with a professional and personable manner

  • The ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure with attention to detail

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
