We are seeking an experienced and highly organised School Office Manager to join our small, independent school in the heart of Mayfair. This is a full-time, term-time only role, ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about supporting a high-functioning school office.
About the Role:As the Office Manager, you will play a central role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the school's administrative functions. The successful candidate will be a confident professional with proven experience in school administration and excellent working knowledge of SIMS and other school systems.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage all aspects of the school office, acting as a key point of contact for staff, parents, and external visitors

Maintain and update pupil records and reports using SIMS

Coordinate school communications and general correspondence

Oversee HR and recruitment administration, including safeguarding and compliance checks

Support the Headteacher and senior leaders with administrative and organisational tasks

Manage supplies, invoices, and office resources
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

Previous experience in a school office or administrative role within an educational setting

Proficient knowledge of SIMS and familiarity with school procedures and compliance requirements

Strong organisational and communication skills with a professional and personable manner

The ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure with attention to detail

High proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT systems
