Portfolio Payroll are pleased to be working with a large, multinational organisation in the Financial Services sector who are hiring into their small & supportive payroll team.

As Assistant Payroll Manager, you will work closely to support the Payroll Manager in the day to day running of the payroll department, overseeing 3 monthly payrolls.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing administrative support to the Payroll Manager, assisting with accurate & timely payroll processing
  • Assist with monthly payrolls and checking input of variable data
  • Process P45s, HMRC new starter checklists & statutory payments
  • Assist with annual salary reviews and bonus payments
  • Assist with tax year-end, P11D & PSA reporting
  • Liaise with the outsourced payroll provider

Experience required:

  • Exemplary UK payroll knowledge gained within an inhouse environment
  • Experience within a financial or professional services setting is highly desirable
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (vlookups/pivot tables)
  • Proficiency using the Oracle payroll system
