A leading blue chip company is seeking to recruit a Workday Functional Analyst on a 12 month contract via umbrella, fully remote.

Job Purpose:

Drive and manage efficiency and accuracy of Workday Payroll Module for UK. As a member of the Tech Payroll Team be responsible for the analysis, configuration, and maintenance according to policies and Workday procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Keep maintenance of already customized and configured the Payroll Module to meet the organization's specific payroll requirements, ensuring compliance with local regulations and company policies.
  • Analyze payroll related system configuration based on payroll team queries, identify discrepancies, and work on resolving issues in cooperation with other Workday product owners.
  • Introduce system changes including Workday releases by testing and validating new payroll features.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Workday Payroll Module related problems, working closely with UK payroll team and cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of payroll module configurations for future reference.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, enhancements, and automation within the payroll module to streamline operations.

Skills:

  • Proven experience in payroll administration and configuration of payroll modules within HRIS systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to details and a commitment to data accuracy
  • Experience with Workday Payroll Module is strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of UK payroll laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
