This prestigious membership body is recruiting a Policy Manager to undertake research and provide analysis of key political and economic issues affecting members, creating effective policy on the basis of these insights.
Key Responsibilities for the Policy Manager:
- Produce high-quality policy and research products in line with the organisation’s influencing strategy.
- Provide advice and insight on issues affecting infrastructure and engineering development, ensuring the organisation continues to remain connected on behalf of members.
- Contribute to the ongoing work programme of policy content.
Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Educated to degree standard, or equivalent level of experience.
- Experience of undertaking desk research, and organising workshops and interviews to collect information.
- Report-writing and brief-writing experience.
- Hands-on understanding of public policy making processes and excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary and Details:
- c£21-£22 per hour.
- Full-time, temporary position, due to start mid-April and expected to last for 3 months.
- Office in Central London, with provision to work remotely.
