Murray McIntosh is delighted to have partnered with a leading organisation in Construction and Built Environment who are seeking a Policy Officer to join their team in London.

This Policy Officer position will focus on both Construction and Education policies, supporting and taking the lead on a broad range of issues, including Net Zero, Future Skills and Diversity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing engagement plans
  • Building relationships and raising organisation awareness with key political stakeholders
  • Working alongside research teams to develop evidence-based policy and activities
  • Develop report, papers, briefs and consultation responses
  • Maintain understanding of the political landscape affecting the construction industry

  • Strong understanding of the UK political system
  • Experience engaging with MPs, Ministers and Civil Servants
  • Experience developing policy and implementing political campaigns
  • Experience or interest working in either Construction or Education/Skills policy
