Following on from a successful 2023, we are growing our sustainability and environmental design teams to strengthen our offering to forward thinking clients and projects in both the UK and the Middle East.

As we continue to push the boundaries of engineering excellence, we seek passionate individuals who are eager to contribute to ground-breaking projects that shape the future of the built environment. You can expect to receive plenty of opportunities for personal and professional development with extensive training on offer, the option to work within different disciplines of sustainable design, a bespoke mentoring scheme and promotion reviews twice a year.

Responsibilities:
* Lead sustainability projects and oversee project teams to ensure that sustainability goals are met
* Provide guidance to clients on green building certification standards, including LEED, WELL, BREEAM, and other relevant certification programs
* Conduct sustainability audits, gap analyses, and feasibility studies to evaluate the sustainability performance of buildings
* Develop and implement sustainability strategies to improve the environmental and social impact of buildings
* Collaborate with project teams to incorporate sustainability into the design and construction process
* Ensure that buildings meet or exceed green building certification requirements
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of emerging sustainability trends and best practices
* Communicate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to ensure that sustainability goals are understood and met
* Mentor junior team members and provide guidance and support to help them grow professionally

Requirements:
* Bachelors degree in a relevant field (e.g., sustainability, engineering, architecture, etc.)
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in sustainability consulting or related field, with a focus on green building certifications
* Proven track record of leading sustainability projects and managing project teams
* Knowledge of green building certification programs such as LEED, WELL, BREEAM, and others
* Understanding of sustainability concepts and strategies, including energy efficiency, water conservation, and sustainable materials
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex sustainability concepts to a variety of audiences
* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to conduct sustainability audits, gap analyses, and feasibility studies
* Ability to work collaboratively with project teams and clients to achieve sustainability goals
* Passion for sustainability and a commitment to creating a more sustainable future
