Key Responsibilities:

• Classroom Leadership: Take on the role of a Year 2 class teacher, planning and delivering creative and stimulating lessons that meet curriculum objectives and cater to the diverse needs of students.
• Comprehensive Instruction: Provide comprehensive instruction across all subject areas, including English, Mathematics, Science, and more, fostering a love for learning and academic success.
• Student Progress Monitoring: Regularly assess student progress and attainment, using assessment data to inform teaching strategies and provide targeted support to students as needed.
• Differentiated Learning: Differentiate instruction to accommodate the varied learning styles and abilities of students, ensuring all learners are challenged and supported appropriately.
• Collaborative Engagement: Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external stakeholders to create a supportive and inclusive learning community, promoting the holistic development of students.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Hold QTS and possess relevant experience teaching in primary schools.
• Year 2 Experience: Demonstrate experience or a strong interest in teaching Year 2, understanding the developmental needs and curriculum expectations of this age group.
• Curriculum Knowledge: Have a sound understanding of the Key Stage 1 curriculum and proficiency in planning and delivering engaging and effective lessons across subject areas.
• Classroom Management: Exhibit strong classroom management skills, creating a positive and structured learning environment conducive to student learning and well-being.
• Passion for Education: Demonstrate a genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to the academic and personal growth of every student.
