I am currently helping a specialist independent school in central London based in the London Borough of Camden recruit a Primary Teacher for September 2024. 

I am looking for an energetic, caring and passionate teacher who is experienced in delivering the primary curriculum. The school supports students with Special Education Needs (SEN), particularly those on the Autism Spectrum. 

They also have an experienced team of Teaching Assistants, Speech & Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists and Art Therapists. 

The role itself involves teaching and delivering the primary curriculum with a maximum class size of 8 pupils.

 

The ideal primary teacher will have:

  • The ability to plan and deliver engaging lesson plans
  • Successfully completed teacher training
  • Experience delivering the primary curriculum
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to build and develop good working relationships and rapport with their students
  • Experience working with children with special educational needs 
  • Good behaviour management skills
  • At least two years teaching experience
