Mandarin Speaking Account Manager - Professional Research & Ratings Services

A leading UK research & ratings company who provides comprehensive, analytical and rating information are looking to recruit a key account manager to their growing international team. Managing relationships with existing clients in China you will help bolster existing arrangements, explore new revenue streams and provide guidance and support when needed.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual who has a passion for relationship management and business development to join a global organisation who are growing at a rapid rate and have significant inward investment.

Specifics of the role will include -

  • Manage relationships with a portfolio of existing clients located in China; communicate in French & Mandarin effectively, resolve problems and develop a close bond.
  • Explore new revenue streams, promote new & existing product areas. Take time to understand their business and make recommendations which may benefit their business.
  • Understand your market, appreciate the global professional services sector you work within and learn how best to pitch and close within the sector.
  • Work closely with colleagues and all parts of the business to over a highly professional service to clients. Manage timelines, expectations, and multiple stakeholders.
  • Review and develop client spend. Research potential opportunities and present to clients.
  • Maintain the company’s global brand, use to your advantage.
  • Manage your own sales cycle, taking ownership throughout the whole process.

To apply for this position, you should have previous account management experience working in a business-to-business environment. Experience of selling into professional services would be advantageous as would any experience of working within the ratings, research, publications, or business information market. Fluent English & Mandarin is essential.
