A fantastic opportunity to work for a very well-established Housing organisation based in Central London. The Portfolio Management Office is now looking for a Programme/Portfolio Manager to join their growing team on a permanent basis.

Client Details

One of the largest housing organisations in the UK providing affordable housing for people living across England including London. A forward-thinking entity which has a focus on driving commercial change in the sector as well as creating safe communities.

You will be working to deliver the company's key Technology programme of work including business change (affecting business processes, systems, data and people) as part of a broader large-scale transformation agenda.

Description

  • Supporting portfolio management activity across the organisation related to their Transformation Programme, Change Projects, and Business Plans.
  • Leading on portfolio reporting by providing regular and insightful updates, highlighting associated delivery risks and how these are being controlled.
  • Embedding project and programme frameworks to deliver consistent and repeatable programme and project management, including benefits and other portfolio reporting.
  • Leading on gap analysis across the Transformation and Change portfolio supporting the corporate strategy.
  • Leading and facilitating the project lifecycle process to assess and make decisions on new change proposals through the governance framework.
  • For approved change and transformation initiatives, facilitating the mobilisation of the delivery, leading the work to ensure accurate translation of objectives into planned deliverables and outcomes.

Profile

  • Experience in portfolio, programme and project management frameworks and methods and their application in a large and complex setting.
  • Stakeholder Management - experienced in influencing at a senior level.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
