Red Sky Personnel are in search of a Senior Construction Manager for an exciting project in West London!

Our client, a leading Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation contractor, is seeking a skilled individual to join their team. With projects spanning across Europe and the UK, they specialise in sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Healthcare, and more.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll play a crucial role in overseeing personnel on-site and ensuring the successful completion of the project. Your leadership and expertise will be instrumental in maintaining safety standards, quality of work, and efficient resource management.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Support the Project Manager in managing and supervising personnel on-site.
  • Lead by example, enforcing safety standards and ensuring exemplary quality of work.
  • Assume leadership on-site, implementing the site safety plan and rules.
  • Manage labour and material resources efficiently, planning ahead of time and managing subcontractor labour hours.
  • Oversee subcontractor activities, ensuring performance issues are addressed and relationships maintained.
  • Conduct performance management of personnel, report incidents and take appropriate action.
  • Ensure materials match project specifications before installation.
  • Implement the project quality plan and support project handover to the client.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • Trade or Degree qualified in an electrical or electrical discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in a construction management position, preferably in Data Centre projects.
  • Strong people management skills with the ability to motivate teams and manage subcontractors.constr
  • Knowledge of the design and construction process.
