We’re excited to be supporting a successful and fast growing business in their search for a Junior Buyer to join their Buying team. With a global supplier and customer base, a collaborative working culture, and exciting plans for growth, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to develop a career in Buying.

In this role, you’ll play a key part in managing supplier relationships, overseeing the critical path, and ensuring that production and deliveries run smoothly and on time. This role would suit someone with experience in buying, procurement, or supply chain coordination within consumer products, who is highly organised, proactive, and looking to grow within a supportive team.

Key responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with suppliers across the globe
  • Manage and update critical paths, communicating changes across relevant internal teams
  • Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Oversee purchase orders for multiple customer accounts, ensuring they meet agreed timelines
  • Collaborate with sales, design, and NPD teams on packaging and labelling requirements for retailers
  • Manage and track production samples
  • Proactively flag and resolve any production issues or delays, communicating with relevant departments
  • Coordinate delivery schedules from port to warehouse, ensuring timely and accurate arrivals
  • Maintain up-to-date shipping and production trackers to ensure data accuracy

What you’ll bring:

  • Experience in Buying, Procurement, Supply Chain, Product Management, or a related area
  • A confident user of Excel and strong overall IT skills
  • A sharp eye for detail with a methodical and analytical approach
  • Ability to stay organised and thrive in a fast-paced environment
