Company:We are a leading Civil Engineering contractor specialising in various projects across London, including New and Retrofit Basement Substructures. With a history of success, we offer excellent career growth opportunities. We are currently seeking a Degree Qualified Quantity Surveyor to join our team.

Role Overview:As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be instrumental in project success, working closely with clients and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in tendering, contract management, and client relations, particularly in the context of basement substructures for new builds and retrofits.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the estimating process, manage incoming enquiries, and submit Tenders.
  • Play a key role in securing new business by demonstrating technical competence.
  • Coordinate with the Contracts Director from order to completion.
  • Monitor production targets and ensure contractual obligations are met.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients, providing updates and addressing concerns.
  • Assist in preparing interim and final accounts, ensuring accuracy.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
  • Membership or approaching membership status with RICS preferred.
  • Minimum five years' experience in tendering and contract management.
  • Strong understanding of JCT Agreements and commercial matters.
  • Excellent communication skills and client-focused mindset.
  • Self-motivated with a track record of success.
