Ridgeway & Co are working with a respected main contractor who are looking to appoint a talented Quantity Surveyor on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and well-established contractor delivering a variety of projects across residential, commercial, and mixed-use sectors throughout London. As Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in the financial delivery of projects, from early-stage procurement through to final account.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage project costs and ensure value for money across all stages

• Oversee procurement of subcontractors and materials

• Prepare and negotiate tenders, variations, and final accounts

• Conduct cost reporting and forecasting in line with project progress

• Work closely with site and project teams to ensure budgetary control

Requirements:

• Experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the UK construction industry

• Strong understanding of cost control and commercial management on build projects

• Background in residential and/or commercial sectors

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Degree-qualified (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or a related field preferred
