Senior Specialist MRI Radiographer
London
Permanent, full time hours (with on-call & weekend requirements) 4 or 5 day shift pattern considered
Salary up to £55,000 per annum DOE plus benefits
Duties & Responsibilities
- As a Senior Radiographer in MRI, you’ll provide a high level of customer-focussed care to our patients and service users through high quality diagnostic radiography.
- Work closely with the Radiologists and Consultants in setting up policies and protocols for all imaging and patient pathways.
- Identify improvements on an ongoing basis and oversee the implementation of such improvements as agreed with the line manager
- Assist the day to day running of the imaging service
- Assist with patient bookings and administrative duties where necessary, ensuring verified radiologist reports are delivered in a timely manner
- assist with staff orientation and training.
- Provide services to wards and departments
Skills & Experience:
- Essential: Bsc Radiology
- Essential: HCPC registered
- Essential: Minimum 2 years MRI experience within the UK
- Essential: Understand the fundamentals of MRI physics and different scanning techniques and sequences
