Are you an experienced Receptionist? Do you consider yourself to be an asset to a busy team? Are you based in or around London?We have a temporary Receptionist role available within DS Smith in their brand-new Head office in Paddington Square. This role is ideal for someone who holds experience performing a variety of administrative tasks and has outstanding communication skills both written and verbal. Role: ReceptionistShift Pattern: Monday to Friday - 08:30am to 17:00pmHours: 37.5 hours Salary:15ph

Duration: Please note: We need a temp cover staff for our Reception desk on the following dates only:7th May to 17th May19th June to 2nd July5th Aug to 9th August. The purpose of the role is to act as the first point of contact and assist Visitors, Contractors and Suppliers when arriving at the office. This role will work closely with the on-site team and will involve taking and directing calls, through our switchboard. Completing administrative tasks including filing and delivering and accepting mail. Cleaning, organising, and maintaining the reception area. Keeping basic office supplies like pens stocked and accessible to visitors.In this role you will also:Manage visitors & meeting roomsUsing switchboard to screen calls & connecting them to the appropriate staff member.Assist the Workplace Manager with Health & Safety within the office including fire drill and first aid requirements.Report issues to cleaning & maintenance team when requiredSupport DS SMITH staff with any additional administrative tasks required.Support the Workplace team where necessary.Requirements:The ideal candidate will have the following experience and demonstrable skillsMust have previous reception experience, ideally in a corporate environmentOutstanding communication skills, both in written and verbal communicationExcellent administrative skills, including experience of using Microsoft Office including Outlook, word and excelWell organised, able to prioritise workloadsWell-presented and friendly mannerTrained Fire marshal & appointed first aider or willing to take similar training's/certificate arranged by the companyA can-do attitude is a must.Does this role sound interesting to you?Contact: Sammy.
