We are currently seeking an experienced Service Charge Officer for an immediate start in a national social housing provider. This role is customer-oriented, focusing on addressing queries, complaints, or challenges related to service charges issued to leaseholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical understanding of service charges and be competent with Excel at an intermediate level. Experience in social housing or a private sector managing agent is essential.
Day to day of the role:- Addressing and resolving service charge queries from leaseholders.
- Handling complaints and challenges related to service charges in a professional manner.
- Ensuring high levels of customer service and interaction.
- Working independently on service charge enquiries with full support from the line manager for complex issues.
- Maintaining accurate records and data related to service charges.
- Proven experience working with service charges in the public sector.
- Good technical understanding of service charges.
- Competency in Excel at an intermediate level.
- High level of customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
