Are you a passionate and dynamic professional bar manager looking for a change or a new direction? We are looking for an experienced, confident and motivated bar manager to help run our busy cocktail bar.

The Lucky Pig is a busy, vibrant, award winning, late night cocktail bar known also as a destination music venue. Specialising in quality classic and unique cocktails alongside a small menu of delicious sharing platters and pizzas. We're passionate about cocktails, passionate about music and passionate about exceptional customer service. We are a small, friendly, creative and collaborative team. Our ethos is to have great knowledge, be informal yet professional, and ensure our guests have an excellent experience.

The Role: You will be a key member of the bar team working to exceed expectations, inspiring your colleagues with your knowledge, skills and passion for exceptional drinks and great customer service. Working closely with the GM, you will:

• Expertly motivate the bar and service staff.
• Be responsible for stock and cost control as well as wet and dry ordering.
• Assist the General Manager with recruitment, training and staff scheduling.
• Design and implement creative cocktail menus, using your expert mixology craft.
• Run highly interactive large and small masterclasses for customers.
• Be responsible for undertaking the operational tasks required for the smooth daily running of the bar such as bar set-up and break-down.
• Mix and deliver premium cocktails to the highest standard, ensuring exceptional and consistent drinks are delivered to guests.
• Work collaboratively with the bar team, to deliver exceptional standards of service
• Uphold industry workplace best practices such as Food and Beverage / Health and Safety.
• Assist our marketing team, to aid in new content creation required for our socials and website and other marketing platforms.

The ideal Bar Manager will:

• Have significant previous cocktail bar experience
• Have an excellent knowledge of classic and modern cocktails and a strong working knowledge of the spirits industry and a passion for drinks.
• Have excellent bartending skills, an eye for detail and the ability to innovate.
• Have experience designing cocktails and full menus.
• Be confident, capable and creative, with passion and commitment to delivering consistently excellent drinks in a vibrant environment.
• Have natural hospitality skills, energy, enthusiasm and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Have a good working understanding of the finances related to the bar industry, specifically around cash-up and GP
• Have the ability to be fast and efficient whilst maintaining a first class standard of drinks.
• A desire to broaden their skill set and progress their career.
• High standards of personal presentation and fluent spoken and written English.
• Be eligible to work in the UK or have a valid UK work permit/visa.
