Roseate House London is an intimate, luxury London hotel offering 47 exquisitely appointed rooms and suites. Ideally located on Westbourne Terrace, it lies to the north of Hyde Park, London's largest royal park.

We are now looking for a full time Restaurant Supervisor ready to join a young and dynamic team to run especially our Breakfast& Afternoon Teas operations.

The ideal candidate must demonstrate genuine dedication and show a commitment to consistent quality in our products and services.

What we are looking for:

  • We are looking for a passionate Restaurant Supervisor who can confidently deliver exceptional, 5 star service to guests.
  • Exceptional service standards
  • Outstanding attention to detail.
  • Ability to deliver warmth, charm and hospitality which will engage the guests and the team
  • Real pride and passion for what you do, with the ability to build rapport and long term relationships with guests.
  • Previous experience of working as a Manager in a 4/5 star environment.
  • Overall you will have bags of personality, enthusiasm and a can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities Expectations:

The Restaurant Supervisor is expected to:

  • Be professional at all times by leading by example
  • Ensure service standards are met or exceeded
  • Display an advanced level of wine knowledge and interest
  • Communicate well between restaurant, bar and kitchen and other departments across the both hotels and senior management
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with all members of the team internally and externally
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures at all times, including but not exclusive of; H&S policies, HR policies, Food hygiene policies

Team

  • Provide effective leadership, direction and support to team
  • Assist with training the restaurant team on new wines and their matching food matching
  • Guide restaurant team on up-selling wine to the guests
  • Brief the team with any new wines and ensure they are knowledgeable on all products
  • Ensure there is respect in the team working environment by nurturing positive relationships and cooperation

The ideal candidate for this position:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years previous experience in 4/5 stars hotel bar in a similar role.
  • Must be courteous and focused on providing a consistently high standard of customer service.
  • Must be standards driven and detail-orientated.
  • Must have the ability to multi-task in fast-paced environment.
  • Must have a good command of English.
  • Must have excellent self-presentation.
  • Barista & cocktail skills and strong wine/beverage knowledge would be advantageous.
