Business Development Manager
My client is currently looking for a Business Development Manager as they expand theirportfolio of products. They are lookingforcandidates with a proven track record of success in a competitive sales environment. Although experience in selling into the legal and/or financial sectors is preferable, it is not essential. This company focuses on commercial law, so an interest in business and the City would be beneficial.
Key responsibilities:
- Proactively research and engage with new prospects to understand their needs and how they want to work with the UK Legal Community
- Qualify leads and guide them through the sales cycle
- Engage with Partners and Marketing specialists in the world's top-ranked law firms
- Close deals to meet individual and team targets
- Maintain and update the CRM system
- Accurately report and maintain a pipeline of potential clients
- Represent the companyat various events
- Collaborate with the team to expand the portfolio
- Cross-sell other products
Requirements:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills for both internal and external contacts
- Reliable, diligent, and professional when dealing with clients and colleagues
- Competitive and ambitious in achieving targets
- Customer-focused and effective at problem-solving
Our client operates on a hybrid basis of 3 days working in the office and 2 days working at home.
