Teaching Consultancy is hiring for qualified PE Teachers to join schools across London. These positions are open to ECT's.

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic PE Teachers who are passionate about inspiring students to achieve their full potential in physical education and sports.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality PE lessons that cater to the needs of all students, ensuring engagement and participation.
  • Skill Development: Foster the development of physical skills, teamwork, and healthy lifestyle choices among students.
  • Extracurricular Activities: Lead and coordinate extracurricular sports clubs, teams, and events, promoting wide participation and competitive success.
  • Student Assessment: Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and reporting to parents and senior staff.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe learning environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines and maintaining equipment.
  • Professional Development: Engage in continuous professional development and stay current with best practices in physical education and sports coaching.
  • School Engagement: Actively participate in school events, parent evenings, and staff meetings to support the broader school community.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Essential:
    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
    • Degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, or a related field.
    • Proven experience teaching PE across various age groups.
    • Strong understanding of the PE curriculum and assessment methods.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to inspire and motivate students to participate in physical activity.
  • Desirable:
    • Additional coaching qualifications in specific sports.
    • Experience leading school sports teams to competitive success.
    • First Aid certification.
    • Commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity in sports.
