Teaching Consultancy is hiring for qualified Science Teachers to join a variety of schools across London. These positions are suitable for ECTs.

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Science Teachers who are ready to deliver an outstanding science education that prepares students for the future.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality science lessons that engage and inspire students across all key stages.
  • Student Engagement: Foster a stimulating learning environment where curiosity and scientific thinking are encouraged and developed.
  • Practical Skills Development: Guide students in hands-on experiments and practical investigations, ensuring safety and enhancing learning.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
  • Resource Management: Maintain and manage science equipment and resources, ensuring a safe and effective learning environment.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with educational best practices and advancements in science education, participating in ongoing professional development.
  • School Engagement: Participate in school events, parent evenings, and staff meetings to support the broader school community.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Essential:
    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
    • Degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) or a related field.
    • Proven experience teaching science across various key stages.
    • Strong understanding of the science curriculum and assessment methods.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to inspire and motivate students with a passion for science.
  • Desirable:
    • Specialization in a particular science discipline (Biology, Chemistry, Physics).
    • Experience with extracurricular science programs or clubs.
    • Familiarity with modern teaching technologies and digital resources.
    • Commitment to promoting inclusivity and diversity in science education.
