Fire alarm installation and commissioning engineer
We are in search of a skilled Fire Alarm System Installer to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, testing and commissioning fire alarm systems in residential and commercial structures, ensuring they meet all local and national fire safety regulations.
- Install fire alarm control panels, smoke detectors, heat detectors, and associated equipment.
- Conceal fire alarm system wiring in compliance with regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of fire alarm systems to guarantee they operate correctly.
- Carry out final inspections and secure required approvals.
- Keep work area tidy and well-organized.
- Record all installation tasks for documentation purposes.
- Work alongside other technicians and electricians when necessary.
- Participate in training sessions to remain informed about current fire alarm technologies and code regulations.
Minimum of 3 years of experience installing fire alarm systems
- Working knowledge of electrical principles and low-voltage wiring.
- Ability to read and interpret installation drawings and schematics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 30,000.00-45,000.00 per year
