Complex Needs Teaching assistant - Greenwich
Location: Greenwich
Hours: 8:30am - 3:30pm, Monday to Friday
Contract: Full-time & part-time roles available - ASAP start
We're working closely with a number of special schools in Greenwich who are seeking caring and resilient Learning Support Workers to join their teams. These schools cater for students aged 11-16 with a variety of needs including SEMH, ASD, complex needs, SLD and MLD.
The Role:
Provide both general classroom support and 1:1 assistance.
Work collaboratively with teachers and colleagues to support learning inside and outside of the classroom.
Build positive, trusting relationships with students, encouraging their progress and independence.
Support pupils with additional needs, including behaviour management and emotional regulation.
What We're Looking For:
Experience of working with young people with SEN (essential).
Resilience, patience and adaptability.
Confidence in supporting students with challenging behaviour.
A positive and enthusiastic approach to helping children achieve their potential.
