Learning Support Assistant - Secondary School - Southwark

Sanza Teaching Agency are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join a welcoming Special Needs School in Southwark. This is a full-time, long-term role starting immediately.

You'll be working with children aged 11 - 16 on the autistic spectrum and/or with profound learning difficulties. You'll help adapt lessons, implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and create an inclusive learning environment where all pupils thrive.

What we're looking for:

  • Experience supporting children or young people, ideally in a school setting
  • Willingness to assist with personal care when required
  • Understanding of supporting pupils with special educational needs
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or open to applying for a new one
  • Strong communication, empathy, positive and proactive approach
