Our client is a reputable social care organisation located in North-East London, with an OUTSTANDING Ofsted rating.

They are looking for a talented Fostering Practice Manager/Reviewing Officer to join their team.

As a Practice Manager/Reviewing Officer you will chair all household reviews for foster carers, provide a report of the meeting to be shared with participants of the suitability of foster carers, which will include recommendations and action points and ensure these are followed up by the Fostering Team. You will be key in ensuring the welfare and assessed needs of both children and foster carers within the Fostering Service are met, making sure they are managed in a safe and inclusive way.

Requirements:

  • Social Work England registration
  • Degree in Social Care or equivalent
  • Leadership experience

The ideal candidate should have the following attributes:

  • Substantive experience of working with children, young people, and their families.
  • Management experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Committed to achieving positive outcomes for children.
  • Experience in completing assessments, analytical reports, and developing SMART care plans.
  • Able to demonstrate personal and professional autonomy in relation to practice.
  • Able to chair all Household reviews for foster carers, provide a report of the meeting and recommended actions.
  • To play an integral part in the implementation and development of a high standard of care to all children placed with our client's Foster Carers.
