Our client is one of the most supportive independent fostering agencies in London. They are passionate about helping people foster and developing the value they bring to children who cannot be with their own parents

They are seeking an experienced registered manager who will responsible for overseeing the welfare and management of children placed in foster care. You play a crucial role in ensuring that all children receive appropriate care, support, and guidance.

Are you the right person for the job?

  • Management qualification to level 5
  • Social Work Qualification
  • Therapeutic training/background

What will your role look like?

  • Support with Line Management of Social Work employees and Foster Carers
  • Devise, Review and update the policies and procedures of the Company
  • Help with the recruitment of Foster Carers
  • Provide an operating environment conducive to the values and ethics of the organisation
  • Carry out investigations and complaints appropriate to the National Minimum Standards
  • Report allegations and incidents in line with Regulatory schedules to the statutory bodies involved
  • Provide an Out of Hours duty rota supported by members of the team
  • Provide duty management second-level support with the Quality Director
  • Complete quality of service reports to Directors and Regulation 35 reports to Ofsted
  • Ensure therapeutic techniques are embedded in practice that supports children and young people in placement
  • Support the Training and Development Strategy for foster carers and staff
