We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Support Workers.

Position Overview:

As a Support Worker, you will play a pivotal role in providing guidance, support, and care to teenagers facing various challenges. You will work closely with a team of professionals to create a safe and supportive environment where teenagers can develop essential life skills, build positive relationships, and work towards achieving their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day support and guidance to teenagers living in the residential setting.
  • Foster a safe and supportive environment conducive to the emotional, physical, and psychological well-being of the teenagers.
  • Assist teenagers in developing essential life skills such as communication, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with other team members to create and implement individualized care plans for each teenager.
  • Monitor and document the progress and behavior of teenagers, providing feedback and reporting any concerns to the appropriate authorities.
  • Actively engage teenagers in recreational and therapeutic activities designed to promote personal growth and development.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions with teenagers, families, and other stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with teenagers in a residential setting or similar environment is preferred.
  • A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of teenagers.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with teenagers from diverse backgrounds.
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations and effectively manage conflict.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • A commitment to upholding the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in all aspects of the job.
