Salary: 35,000 per annum
We are looking to recruit an experienced Handyperson to join the voids team for a local social housing contractor within the Westminster area.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out basic repairs and installations of window and door ironmongery, stair nosings, benches, decking, fencing, erecting blinds, curtain and shelves.
- Hanging internal and external doors and installing ironmongery
- Replacing ceiling tiles and a variety of light bulbs
- Preparation work for internal and external decorating and decorating a variety of surfaces including timber, metal and masonry.
- Replacing and installing a variety of signage
- Unblocking a variety of gullies, grates and drains.
- Paving slab replacements and basic brickwork
- Blocking a variety of holes to help proof against rodents
- Ensuring that all tools are readily available at the beginning of each shift so that workers can begin their work on time
Requirements:
- CSCS Blue Card (Skilled Worker)
- Full UK Driving Licence (minimum of 12 months)
- Basic Criminal Record Check

- 7:30 am to 5:00 pm Monday to Friday
