Android Developer - REMOTE
Start date: ASAPDuration: 6-month contractLocation: Hybrid in London for the first 4 weeks, then 100% remote working afterRate: £361-£450 per day PAYE
Responsibilities
- Implement UI and logic changes according to spec.
- Reviewing and approving code
- Refactoring complex code
- Suggesting architectural designs and implementation
- Performance tuning
- Writing unit and end to end tests.
- Bug fixing

- Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Strong ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Strong mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
- Strong knowledge of the full software development lifecycle: from business/systems analysis, through requirements gathering and functional specification authoring, to development, testing and delivery.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot issues and make system changes as needed to resolve issue.
- Strong knowledge of Kotlin and Android Studio
Bonus Skills
- Experience with UI animations and performance tuning.
