A well-backed, UK market-leading app helping pet owners with training and advice are looking for Developer with good Angular experience to join their 5 strong team.   The app enables owners to bond better with training activities that help avoid behavioural problems and abandonment amongst other positive benefits.  Having brought their tech in-house, they’re growing fast and have recently launched in the US.What skills you’ll be needing
  • Experience working on a customer facing web application (mobile is a bonus).
  • Hands-on experience with Typescript, Angular (they work with Angular 17) and frameworks within (rxjs, ngrx).
  • Knowledge/experience with Ionic Framework, Capacitor or native Android and iOS knowledge is a bonus, as is knowledge with a backend language (NestJS ideally!)
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps and setting up CI/CD pipelines.
  • Good people & communication skills.
  • A feel & empathy for user experience & design.
What you’ll be doingCore duties will include developing and maintaining the app which is now used across the world.  You’ll uphold high code quality and best practices.  They practise trunk based and test driven development, continuous integration and delivery.  You’ll help to drive the product forward balancing quality and speed whilst ensuring software quality and scalability.  At times you will have input into design decisions and contribute to the direction of their high-performing development team.
