Tradewind Recruitment is delighted to offer an exciting opportunity for a learning support assistant in a lovely 4-form entry school in Havering. This role would be perfect for someone who has worked in a school previously and is looking for a full-time role which is term time only. This role requires experience and passion for working with children with SEN needs, such as autism, ADHD and SEMH.

This Primary School in Havering is a popular and inclusive environment where staff work collaboratively to ensure that every child has the support they need to succeed.

The ideal learning support assistant will have:

  • Experience working with children with special educational needs (SEN) OR a desire to.
  • A genuine interest in pursuing a career in education, with a view to training as a teacher
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage children with diverse learning needs
  • A proactive, adaptable, and enthusiastic approach to supporting both students and staff
