A specialist SEND school in Greenwich are looking for a full-time teaching assistant to support secondary aged pupils with complex, low incidence special educational needs from, September 2022.

The Role

In this role you will be working with students from 11- 19 years old who have a range of special educational including PMLD, SLD or ASD. You will be supporting students in a range of learning activities, therapy sessions, wellbeing and personal development sessions throughout the modern, purpose built school site. The school are looking for teaching assistants who have previous experience working with children with SEND in any capacity or a true passion to follow a career in this area.

Based in Greenwich with parking and good local transport links, this specialist SEND School offers a high quality education, within an open and welcoming environment to young people aged between 11 and 19 years old with a range of special needs. The school's positive and focused community acknowledge the rights of the students to learn and develop as individuals. The school has a dedicated and experienced leadership team and a range of teaching, support staff and therapists. The school is rated good by Ofsted and offers professional development programmes for staff and a friendly and supportive environment to work in.
