SEN Teacher | Primary School | SEND Resource Base | September Start

SEN teacher required for the SEND resource base of a primary school in Hackney.

This is an exciting role working with children with complex needs, mostly pre-verbal ASD, Global Development Delay and downs syndrome.

They are mainly learning and thinking at an 18-24 month level of development, so early years experience is very beneficial to the role.

• Long term SEN Teacher role within specialist provision to start September for the whole academic year
• Small Class of 7 full-time children
• Excellent support from SLT and SENCO
• Experienced HLTA full-time within the class
• Benefit from highly skilled teaching assistant team
• Well-resourced and funded SEN provision

Applicants should be qualified teachers with good experience and knowledge of special education needs, especially complex needs and non-verbal children and previous experience within a special school or specialist provision.
