SANZA are currently on the lookout for a SEND teacher to support a large SEND school in Wandsworth for the 2023/24 academic year. You will be looking after classes in Key stage 4 who are low level GCSE and low ability. Many of the children have visual or hearing impairments. There is no personal care duties involved with this position. We are looking for a compassionate SEND teacher to support one of our favourite schools with this role.
School
This school is a wonderful school with a vibrant community. You will be working in a school that is dedicated to supporting children with special needs and disabilities. They offer continued professional development and an opportunity to train within their school community. The school is located on a large campus in a leafy and inclusive area of South-West London.
The role
- The role is a SEND Humanities teacher covering a class of mixed year groups in an SEND School.
- Many of the children have visual or hearing impairments.
- Full-time, long-term position to start after the May half term break - July 2024
- Marking and lesson planning responsibilities
- ECT's and experienced teachers are welcome to apply for this role however QTS is mandatory.
- This role could continue into the next academic year
