Technical Project Manager (Merger & Acquisitions)

Location: London (Remote with occasional office visits)

Duration: 6 months+

Daily Rate: 拢650 - 拢700 Umbrella

Are you a driven and experienced Technical Project Manager with expertise in mergers and acquisitions? Our client in the reinsurance sector is seeking a highly motivated professional to join their team on an initial 6-month contract, with potential for extension.

Your Role:

As the M&A Technical Project Manager, you will play a critical role in managing the technical dimensions of M&A activities. Collaborating closely with Program Delivery Managers focused on the business side, you'll ensure that technical integration aligns seamlessly with overall objectives. This is a unique opportunity to develop a comprehensive M&A playbook for technology and lead a multi-location project team!

Key Experience Required:

路 Proven experience in managing technical projects within M&A contexts.

路 Excellent coordination and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

路 Develop and implement mitigation plans to address potential risks and challenges during the M&A process.

路 Senior level stakeholder management whilst being able to challenge

路 Must have worked within a regulated environment with a preference for Insurance.

What You Will Do:

You will work closely with Program Delivery Managers who focus on the business side, while your primary focus will be on the technical side. This is a fast-paced role that requires a deep understanding of technology, the ability to communicate effectively with technical stakeholders, and the capability to develop strategic plans for seamless integration. As this is a new role, you will also be responsible for developing a comprehensive M&A playbook for technology.

The successful applicant will need to be able to lead a multi-location project team, as well as align with other stakeholders within the IT change portfolio. This role will report directly to the Technology Transformation Director.
