We are Health, Safety & Quality Manager seeking a to join a national market leader in the Building Management Systems industry & Energy Optimisation!

The Role

You will report formally to the Health, Safety & Quality Manager, but your activities and workloads will be directed by our Head of National Accounts Delivery. Your role is crucial in maintaining top-tier project delivery standards. As a proactive and results-oriented HSEQ advisor, you will collaborate with the client through all phases of project execution, from Pre-Sales Consultation to Project Completion and H&S File Handovers.

This dynamic position requires someone equally adept at providing support both from the office and on-site. You will work in a variety of environments, handling both desk-based responsibilities and site work. You must be willing to travel across the UK for short durations as required by work and project demands, supporting our project management teams and addressing the needs of our UK-based clients. Your dedication to ensuring the highest safety standards throughout project lifecycles will be essential. Your passion for safety excellence will drive continuous improvement and the introduction of innovative practices within our project delivery teams.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Provide proactive support and management for HSE requirements in all aspects of project delivery, from pre-sales to handover.
  • Conduct HSEQ inspections and audits.
  • Attend Project Management and Engineer meetings, reporting on H&S performance.
  • Offer pragmatic advice on various Health & Safety aspects to the wider delivery team.

Due to the nature of this role, you must possess a full UK driving licence.

Required:

  • NEBOSH Level 6 qualification or equivalent.
  • Environmental management qualification or relevant experience.
  • Extensive experience in construction and building maintenance environments.
  • Effective communicator with strong presentation and report writing skills.
  • Client-facing experience.
  • Willingness to travel across the UK as required.
  • Understanding of Management System Standards (ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001).
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Capability to liaise with staff and operatives at all levels.Proficiency in using Microsoft Office packages.
  • CSCS Safety Professional card.
  • High-quality standards with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexibly in the office, at home, and on customer sites as needed.
  • A proactive and adaptive approach to ensure safety measures are reasonable and practicable for the works being executed.
