Vehicle Technician
Basic Salary: £30k - £35k
OTE: £60k
Location: Brent Cross, London(Northwest London)
We are looking for an experienced Vehicle Technician for our client in Brent Cross, London (Northwest London) site. Within this role, you will be working as a part of our experienced vehicle mechanical team carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repair and vehicle checks. You will be working as part of an experienced workshop team, ensuring vehicles are mechanically checked to the highest standard, under the support and guidance of the Workshop Supervisor.
Role responsibilities:
- Undertake road and ramp testing and inspection as and when required
- Carry out all engine repairs in line with approved methods
- Plan and organise time effectively to ensure alt tasks are completed within set deadlines
- Assist with general workshop tasks as and when required
- Diagnose vehicle engine problems, undertake electrical diagnosis on vehicles
- Deal with warranty repairs in line with manufacturer standards
- Ensure all the relevant documentation is accurately completed and all company procedures are followed
Candidate requirements:
- 3+ years previous experience in a similar role as a Vehicle MOT Tester / Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
- Ideally qualified to City and Guilds or NVQ Level2 / Level 3
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Willing to support the team and be a team player
- Able to work independently on vehicles and have experience to make decisions when required
- Excellent attention to detail
