What the role entails

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hairdressing Assessor to join one of our amazing Further Education colleges based in the Wandsworth area. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a caseload of learners, providing high-quality training, coaching, mentoring, and assessment. As a Hairdressing Assessor, you’ll play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of skilled hairdressers.

What we need from you

To be successful in the role, you will need:

  • A full qualification in Level 2 and 3 Hairdressing including men’s hair cutting on both levels
  • Full IV (V1 and V2) qualification and A1 assessors with TAQA update
  • Track record of effective assessing in subject specialism
  • Gain/hold and maintain a clean, enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
