At Koji, waiters are a very important link between the front of house and most importantly the Koji customers. They are the key to successful service. The ideal candidate we would like to invest in and teach all we know about fine dining hospitality would need to have:
- Previous experience and to be able to confidently deliver a positive customer experience.

In 1985, Mark Barnett launched Mao Tai on the same site that he opened Koji in 2014, he has been in the restaurant business for a constant 39 years. Koji is a successful, vibrant & contemporary Japanese fine dining restaurant. It is a 110+ seat restaurant with a cocktail bar that has additional bar seating. We produce very high quality cocktails & food by using only the very best products. It is a fun place for friends to meet and enjoy cocktails with sharing plates of delicious and beautifully prepared food from tempura to sushi and the robata grill, and it is also a fun place to work
