WRG are supporting a property & construction consultancy that has been established for over 100 years, the business is one of the most respected construction organisations in the UK, they have very little staff turnover and boast a portfolio of prestigious projects.

They have ambitious growth plans for the year ahead, they are appointed on a number of large frameworks and have a strong orderbook of projects for several years. With that being said, they are recruiting for an experienced Senior CDM Advisor or Principal Designer to join the team (currently sat at 8) and offer a CDM/ PD service to their clients across London/ South East.

They work on several impressive super prime residential high rise schemes across London, award winning commercial projects, landmark projects which are changing the London skyline, museums, art galleries, leisure complexes, hospital trusts and so on.

The role would suit an experienced CDM/ PD professional who feels stagnated in their current role and would like to join a business with excellent career progression, a brilliant portfolio of projects, and a like minded team of safety professionals.

Responsibilities:

  • Offer a variety of health & safety/ CDM services to a diverse client base.
  • Oversee design risk registers and ensure that they are updated on a regular basis as projects progress and carry out design risk reviews, along with design team meetings and offer input regarding safety in design.
  • Familiar with all associated documentation relating to CDM 2015 e.g CPP’s, PCI’s, H&S file etc. and that the documents are updated on a regular basis.
  • Liaise with various stakeholders on projects – client, principal contractor, architect etc. and keep them updated in relation to H&S/ CDM matters.
  • Ensure that RAMS are in place for each project.
  • Develop client relationships and build new ones.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Construction or equivalent.
  • NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent.
  • Member to IOSH, APS, IIRSM or a similar professional body.
  • Excellent working knowledge of 2015 CDM Regulations.
  • Good knowledge of the BSA and changes affecting the industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
