FINANCE MANAGER | Derry | Londonderry

Reed is partnered with a highly successful, award-winning group of businesses in the northwest, in the appointment of a permanent and full-time Finance Manager (hybrid).

As Finance Manager you will support the Senior Management Team in providing clear effective weekly and monthly reporting.  You will be responsible for developing the finance function brand across the organisation, as an efficient and professional team that enables commercial growth. 

The Finance Manager role supports the preparation of monthly accounts, including cost management & profitability analysis. 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for financial reporting, provide quality financial analysis, insightful commentaries to the leadership team.
  • Specific responsibility for production of monthly management accounts and support the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and audits.
  • Monthly reporting to Board of Directors.
  • Support leadership team with daily operational queries.
  • Produce & report on project profitability.
  • Ad hoc analysis and provision of financial advice as required to support leadership team, decision-making and monitoring of financial performance.
  • Cost and inventory management
  • Completion of Government Forms and surveys when necessary
  • Cash management and planning.
  • Management of financial regulatory reporting
  • Management of the on-site finance team
  • Management of company annual audit
  • Consolidation of monthly and annual accounts

Our preferred candidate:

  • Minimum 5+ years’ experience of working in a finance function
  • Strong effective and communication skills both written and verbal
  • Good organisational, planning and time management skills
  • Experience of managing a team and cross function business partnering

Desirable

  • Previous experience of using Sage 200
  • Part qualified/newly qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA or similar by experience
  • Experience in project accounting
