The Role
Our Client has a newly refurbished seasonal Restaurant Bar and Grill offering a varied menu from fresh ingredients situated on one of the most stunning sites in the area is now looking for a new Head Chef to join their team!
Responsibilities included (not limited to):
- Food preparation.
- Kitchen Staff management.
- Service.
- Record management and compliance with food hygiene, allergens etc.
- High health and safety standards in the Kitchen.
- Regularly work alongside the restaurant manager to achieve goals.
- Rota creation and management.
- Kitchen stock order/rotation.

This restaurant is 100 covers and serves a full breakfast, lunch and dinner menus with varied options from fresh Pizzas to locally source Fish & Chips, The restaurant will be focused on repeat bookings from returning customers so high standards are a MUST!
- 35 hours per week annualised – this will work out at more hours in the summer and fewer in the winter months
- Accommodation available – usually a small charge
About You
Ideally you will have experience in -
- You will be managing 3 chefs in the kitchen so experience in managing a small team.
- Solid menu, using fresh ingredients.
- Working in a compact kitchen.
- Strong H&S and quality.
- Used to ordering products and providing a consistent menu.
