Our client, an established, small animal practice in Leicestershire is looking to recruit a full time Veterinary Surgeon on a permanent basis:Â
The role is full time:
**40 hours over 4-5days (part time applications considered)
**1:4 Saturdays 8:30-2pm
**1:15 Sundays 8am-7pm (paid extra)
The role involves a predominantly clinical focus with operating and consulting. You will be the lead on-site and responsible for the line management of the vet team, coaching and mentoring, rota management and involved in business plans to further the practices success.
There are 4 sites, primary care and mid-tier referral. Each is self-sufficient and fully equipped. The team includes certificate holders in ophthalmology, orthopaedics, soft tissue surgery and emergency critical care.
The variety of experience levels within the team means that they have been able to offer a fantastic new graduate programme that offers great support. It is a nurse training practice who work closely with local universities & training colleges too.
The branch sites are well equipped with digital x-ray, quality ultrasound, dental equipment & x-ray, in house labs, dedicated operating theatres, and carry out all standard primary care procedures daily. The Tier 3 RCVS accredited Hospital has all this plus; CT machine, video endoscopy, ASIF kit, TPLO/TTA/Tightrope, arthroscopy, Phacoemulsification and advanced ophthalmology equipment, dedicated 24 hour nursing and vet teams, and much more
